Our Tech Talk with Deloitte is tonight (Sept 4) at 6:30 in VKC 150. They will be speaking about jobs in cybersecurity and their recruitment process.
Once again, food will be provided, and there will be time for networking following the talk.

Join UCLA and USC Cyber Security for a Capture the Flag (CTF) competition on Saturday April 28th. This is our last CTF event for the semester, and all levels of experience are welcome. The event will be held in EEB 349.
There will be free pizza!
The Deloitte Foundation Cyber Threat Competition consists of two rounds. The highlight of this competition is a live, in-person event in which finalists engage in a Cyber Simulation at Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas. Students will have the opportunity to present to, and meet with, leaders from Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory’s Cyber Risk Services practice.
Compete with students from 15 schools in an online business and technology knowledge questionnaire in which you’ll be scored on the number of correct responses. Engage in a set of online cyber hacking challenges that test the breadth of your business and technical understanding. Up to four competitors will be invited to comprise the team that will represent their school in the Round Two Cyber Simulation.
The teams will face off at Deloitte University in Westlake, Texas, for a two-day Cyber Simulation. Each team will apply logic, creativity, and problem-solving skills to real-world cyber challenges, and showcase presentation skills to a panel of Deloitte Risk and Financial Advisory Cyber Risk Services leaders. Scholarship prizes are awarded to the three top performing teams. The first place team takes home the largest scholarship award, the Deloitte Foundation Cyber Threat Competition trophy, and bragging rights!
